STS Recruiting fills positions in Executive/Management, IS/IT,
Accounting/Finance, Sales/Marketing, Engineering/Design and
Operations/Administration. We work primarily on a retained basis and
commit to fill every position that we take on. Our clients can be
sure that their positions will be filled, and our candidates can be
sure their resumes will receive serious consideration from our
clients. Our clients include some of the
premier companies in the US. While the majority of our clients are
located in the Pacific Northwest, we also conduct searches for
clients nationwide, and regularly search for candidates on a
worldwide basis.
The principals of STS are Ben and Chris Schrenzel, who together
manage the business of STS. Ben is ultimately responsible for managing
all recruiting efforts, and Chris is responsible for all of the business
and customer service aspects of the practices, and also supports the
recruiting efforts with research and candidate screening.
In addition to the principals, STS employs the services of additional
recruiters and researchers, who are assigned to specific recruiting
projects as best fits their backgrounds and areas of expertise.
About Ben Schrenzel
Ben Schrenzel, co-founder and Director of STS Recruiting, began his
career in the IT world, starting as a programmer and rising to the rank
of CIO, and then founded and ran a successful software company. In 1997
he started STS as an IT recruiting firm, which has now grown to include
practices in Executive/Management, IS/IT, Accounting/Finance,
Sales/Marketing, Engineering/Design and Operations/Administration.
Ben was raised in New York City. He obtained a degree in Psychology and
attended law school at the University of Puget Sound (now part of
Seattle University). His personal interests include all aspects of
computer technology, music, being in the great outdoors, the physical
sciences, and spending time with his family. This combination of a
technical, managerial and business background has given him the unique
capabilities to provide the highest possible level of success to the
clients and candidates who trust their employment activities to STS.
About Chris Schrenzel
Chris Schrenzel, co-founder and Business Manager of STS Recruiting,
began her career as a Marketing Manager for a Merrill Lynch subsidiary,
and subsequently ran several businesses including a travel company and a
real estate management company.
Chris has a degree in Business, with an emphasis in Marketing. She
has a strong background in accounting and finance, and is an especially
effective Internet researcher. Her personal interests include all
aspects of Internet research and commerce, real estate, photography, and
spending time with her family. This combination of business management
and research experience has given her the unique capabilities to
effectively manage the business functions of STS, as well as assist in
candidate sourcing and screening.
